Budapest-based multimedia artist Virág Réti launched her ambient music project in the fall of 2024, since which she has become one of the promising newcomers in the Hungarian experimental electronic music scene. Releasing under her legal name–meaning “flower of the meadow” in Hungarian–and often choosing track titles capturing the (folk) names of local fauna, her music evokes the artist's innate connection to nature as a place of refuge from the noise of Eastern European urban life. Guided by a strong conceptual approach, her work draws on early memories, natural imagery, and gradual sonic transformation.
